These are US & Canada figures, not worldwide. Revenue per user differs by an
order of magnitude between markets — Meta's own filing puts US & Canada at about
four and a half times the global average and Asia-Pacific at under half of it — so a
single worldwide number would describe nobody. This page shows the richest market: the most
a person is worth to these companies anywhere. Where the company publishes a regional figure
(Meta, Snap, Reddit, Pinterest) it is used; where it does not (YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
a stated multiple is applied to the worldwide number and the row is marked an estimate.
WhatsApp gets no uplift, because its revenue is business messaging sold mainly in India,
Brazil and Indonesia. Each figure is then scaled by your time against a typical user's:
ad revenue follows impressions and impressions follow time, so at the default minutes you
are worth exactly the average and at double the minutes, double it. One caveat on the
ranking: most rows divide by monthly users, but Reddit and Snapchat divide by daily users,
a much smaller base, so those two sit higher than a like-for-like comparison would put them.
Figures are for the year to December 2025. Six of the ten are a company's own published
number, or a division of two numbers from the same annual report. The other four —
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X — are outside estimates, because those companies
do not publish the figure, and every one of them is marked. The marks are drawn for this
page; they are not the companies' own logos.
